On Thursday, 25 December 2025, Sandown Greyhound Racing Club proudly hosted our annual Community Christmas Lunch – a day filled with warmth, generosity, and festive cheer.
This special event welcomed 250 guests from our local community, offering not just a delicious meal but a sense of belonging and joy on Christmas Day. A beautiful two-course lunch was lovingly prepared by Elisa from Because We Can and Sister Margaret Mary from Servants of the Two Hearts, whose kindness truly made the day memorable.
We are deeply grateful to the many volunteers who gave their time and hearts to prepare, serve, and share in the celebrations. Their selflessness brought smiles to every table. Guests enjoyed Christmas carols, received thoughtful gifts, and experienced the true spirit of giving.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and spent their Christmas making others feel cared for. Your generosity turned this day into something extraordinary.
