Sandown announces greyhound rehoming incentive for Southern Football Netball League

The Sandown Greyhound Racing Club (“SGRC”) is pleased to announce an exciting new greyhound rehoming initiative, in conjunction with long-time partner Southern Football Netball League (“SFNL”).

Every time a member or supporter of a SFNL club successfully adopts a greyhound through the Greyhound Adoption Program, the SGRC will provide a financial incentive back to that club.

“We have a great relationship with the Southern Football Netball League,” said SGRC CEO Adrian Scott.

“Many of their clubs hold events at Sandown, and so they already have a great appreciation for greyhound racing and rehoming.

“We know that a lot of their members and supporters will be able to offer retired greyhounds loving homes, and we are looking forward to giving back to these clubs when this happens.”

SFNL Commercial & Events Manager, Wes Garth, agrees, adding that, “It’s great to see our football and netball community embrace the Greyhound Adoption Program.”
